Payments and Rental Terms

Rental payments, cancellations, and refunds.

Review the key financial and contractual considerations for office rentals, including deposits, recurring payments, cancellation requests, and changes to workspace arrangements before entering into a rental agreement.

Before signing a rental agreement

Review the proposed rental rate, security deposit, payment schedule, applicable taxes, included services, access conditions, lease duration, and any additional charges before committing to a workspace. Confirm whether utilities, furnishings, maintenance, meeting room access, and shared facilities are included or billed separately. Request written clarification of any terms that are unclear, and retain a copy of the agreement and payment records for reference.

Cancellation and notice requirements

  1. Office rental agreements should specify the required notice period, the permitted method for submitting a cancellation request, and the date on which termination takes effect.
  2. Early termination or changes to the agreed rental period may be subject to contractual conditions, outstanding balances, notice requirements, or additional charges.
  3. Reservations for meeting rooms, short-term workspace bookings, and ongoing office leases may have different cancellation, rescheduling, and payment conditions. Review the terms that apply to the specific service.

Changes to the rental arrangement

If you need to change the requested start date, extend or shorten the rental period, modify the selected office, or adjust the space required by your team, contact Atrium to discuss the request. Any change is subject to availability, the existing agreement, and written confirmation of revised terms. Do not assume that a requested modification has taken effect until it has been confirmed.

Deposits and recurring payments

The rental agreement should identify any deposit required, the payment due dates, accepted payment methods, and the conditions governing the return or retention of deposited funds. Recurring rent and additional service charges should be reviewed separately so that the total expected cost is clear. Ask how overdue balances, payment discrepancies, or changes to billing details are handled.

Refund eligibility and review

Refund eligibility depends on the applicable agreement, the type of payment, the timing of the request, whether the workspace or service has already been used, and any relevant cancellation provisions. A refund is not automatic simply because a booking or rental plan changes. Submit the details of the transaction and the reason for the request through the appropriate contact channel so the circumstances can be reviewed against the agreed terms.

Additional charges and billing questions

Depending on the rental arrangement, additional charges may relate to utilities, cleaning, equipment, meeting room use, access credentials, repairs, or other services specified in the agreement. Ask for an explanation of any charge you do not recognize and retain relevant invoices, receipts, and written correspondence. Any billing dispute should identify the amount in question, the associated rental period, and the reason clarification is requested.

Contact regarding payment terms

Use the contact page to ask about rental rates, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation conditions, or refund requests. Include relevant agreement or transaction details where appropriate, but avoid sending unnecessary confidential financial information. The terms confirmed in the applicable rental agreement take precedence over general website descriptions where they address the same matter.
